Guest guest
Hi , Our Medicare Administrative Contractor (MAC) is First Coast Service Options, Inc (FCSO). They are the Medicare claims processor for Florida, Connecticut and Puerto Rico. FCSO does so many webinars and free educational events that I can't take advantage of all of them. Several years ago, there were concerns that " Medicare " was too complex and the " rules " were arbitrarily interpreted and enforced. In response, FCSO set up " FCSO University " which is available by a requested account. Some of the information may be generally applicable, if they allow you to participate. https://gm1.geolearning.com/geonext/fcso/login.geo Check with your state MAC. They may have similar free or low-cost webinars or seminars to help improve your claims submission and billing accuracy. Most MACs have now recognized that " fraud " is not the problem the media portrays. The problem is the ability of Medicare to distribute its " rules " , education and information to the providers that need it.
