Guest guest
Ricky, they always say to do only the sides of your fingers. I think after you get used to that it won't bother you so much. I read braille and have no trouble at all with that, I think because I'm only using the sides of my fingers for blood tests. Why not give it some more tries andlet us know how you make out. Cheers. Vicki Whenever you find you are on the side of the majority, it is time to pause and reflect. Question about using the lancet Hi all, I have a question about testing my bg. I've tried pricking my finger with the lancet on the side and it bruises every time. So I've been doing it on the bottoms. I know if I keep that up they are going to get callused at first I was worried because I'm a Braille reader but haven't read Braille in a long time so thought oh well if they get to tough to read Braille it won't be the end of the world. Anyway, my question is how do I properly do the pricking. I haven't taken my diabetic class yet that's on the 26th. Ricky Joe
Guest guest
Ricy, The sides of the finers are best, but whatever is working for you will be okay until you have your class. Guest guest
Dear Ricky, I do the pricking right in the middle or close to it. Lately though I have switch hands because it seems like the fingers on my left hand needed a brake. It is not easy doing it on the right hand.
