earthquakes, CA and Alaska too

I am so glad none of you have quaked apart in all of this rock n rolling you do on a fairly regular basis there in California. I watch the USGS regularly to see how many quakes are happening, especially in Alaska. My oldest brother and his wife moved to Alaska last summer to start a new life adventure in their "golden years". They are living about 15 miles from where I lived for "Sharon's Excellent Alaskan Adventure". We felt small quakes often. Alaska is part of The Ring of Fire that includes Washington, Oregon and California. We had Tsunami emergency preparedness drills in our area. There had been a devastating Tsunami there in 1964 after a 9.2 quake (the largest ever recorded in
