Guest guest
Want to pick the brains of you business owner folk. The studio owner from whom I rent space for my business wants to increase my rental rate by 75%. Last year my rental expense constituted 16% of my revenue (not income) and this year it would amount to a projected 32% of my projected revenue. I've surveyed other studio owners in different areas of the country and she is pretty up there. I am going to negotiate the terms of the contract and wanted to know what you all thought about this. Some other details: I utilize one treatment room and free use of the exercise equipment for patient care. The treatment room is not exclusive to me (shared between LMTs, etc.) and the studio can be closed off entirely on periods where they are running courses. I pay per patient visit not square footage, as the room is shared space amongst other practitioners. Thanks!
