Congratulations! Not necessarily for firing your doctor, although many

diabetics need to consider that, but more so just because it shows your interest

in being proactive. And that is key for proper diabetic self-management.

a Christmas present to myself

Hi all, just wanted to share something with you. I've fired my doctor and am

getting a new doctor on January 6th. I'm excited about it because in his profile

he says he likes to work with diabetic patients and that is one of his

specialities.

I'm hoping that he'll be more proactive with me in building my team.

The time to fire a doctor is when he is not working actively with you to set

goals, recommend therapies and diets and restrictions that actually help you.

All these things should be measureable and their results must also be

measureable, just like your bs level is measureable. If not, you will not know

whether or not you are making progress or regressing.
