Speech therapy concurrent treatment vs. group

Hi Group,

We are considering having our speech therapy treat two patients in a one hour

time period. Since speech treatment is untimed, is it acceptable to bill each

patient for a 30-minute treatment session, assuming each receives 30 minutes of

direct care? Or would we have to code for a 1-hour group speech treatment?

Thank you,

Leigh , PT
