Wow, this is great. We should start a new club of new prodigy users. But if we

had meetings we would all be sitting around a table using the meters. (don't

mind me). I'm happy for you, Ricky, and ou will get used to it.

Santa came early

Hi all, OMG I'm so excite I could just burst. Okay I know that being type 2

isn't supposed to be so much fun but I have some news.

I called my new provider this morning to just follow up on the progress of

seeing if Medicare and my health plan were going to buy the Prodigy Voice for me

and they provider told me it looked like my health plan had approved the meter

for me even though they had purchased the advocate for me a month ago. The lady

said that she though I'd be getting a call about when I'd be getting the new

meter.

I had a long work day and when I got home and was opening the door I stumbled

over a package. Guess what? Yep it was the Prodigy Voice with three months of

strips, lancets and all the other goodies.

Man was I excited. I was able to set the year, month, day and time all by

myself. I'm in tears because I'm so happy.

The lancets they sent are a lot smaller than the ones I've been using and I'm

really interested as to how its going to feel when I use the smaller needles to

prick my finger.

Thanks to this list or I wouldn't even known about the Prodigy Voice and would

still have to keep using the Advocate which is a pain. I'll keep the advocate as

a back up though.

I'll keep using the advocate for a few more days until I get familiar with the

Prodigy Voice and feel comfortable using it and know that I can get my bg

readings on it.

Just have to say thank you to y'all and to Medicare and Santa for an early

great Christmas present.

well, I'm been to some meetings where it would've been more productive to play

with prodigies than trying to talk things out.
