Guest guest
Hello Group, I know this topic speaks to the heart of the group administrators... We have been providing Medicare Part B services in the home since 2009. We operate out of a home office for administrative purposes and all visits are provided at the patient residences. Today, we received a fax that states, " After careful review of your health care supplier enrollment application, it was determined that you do not meet the conditions for enrollment or meet the requirements to qualify as a health care supplier in the Medicare program. therefor your request to participate in the Medicare Program is denied for the following reason: DENIAL BASED ON ON SITE VISIT CMS may deny a providers enrollment in the Medicare Program for the following reasons: ONsite Review- Upon on site review or other reliable evidence, we determine that the provider is not operational or is not meeting the Medicare enrollmet requirements to furnish Medicare covered services. Onsite review was conducted 5-14-2012, and determined that you are not operational. Specifically: Private residence, private community, no sign of business at the address. What am I missing? I know I will get more answers come Monday when we call in, but I need some advice from the group. Am I shut down? My wife, the office administrator, was not home on that date if they attempted to stop by. Please advise as we have many active patient that need care immediately this upcoming week. Thank you all in advance for your knowledge and guidance in correctly resolving this issue.
