Guest guest
Ask you doctor. It is a blood test done every 3 months or so and gives you an idea of how well your diabetes has been in control over the previous months. Guest guest
As your physician is ordering all of those blood test, just request him to add an A1C test to the list. Really, if you are a diabetic, then you need to know what the A1C reading is. Guest guest
As Harry mentioned , make sure your doc includes the very common blood test called a1c. Actually, the medical term is glyco-hemoglobin, but it is just referred to most often as an a1c. Dave A wise man's heart guides his mouth, and his lips promote instruction. I have a guide dog named Mulligan and had a kidney pancreas transplant in 1999. I am no longer considered a diabetic by my doctors, but I still live a diabetic life when choosing what I eat and I am also very interested in learning about the latest technologies and improvements for diabetics. I look forward to hearing from members in this group and have a lot I can share about my own ups and downs of having diabetes. Thanks, Becky No virus found in this outgoing message. Checked by AVG.
