Guest guest
That's wonderful Reb! Connie On a personal note... .... The group of new students I was instructing/supervising some time ago got an A for the work I was helping them with!I met one of the students, and she asked me "Do you want to know our grade?" with obvious difficulty hiding her happiness, to which I said: "Well...when you ask it like that...I suppose I do..." And, apparently, they got an A.I know, for a fact, that they felt I was tough on them (the "worst" being asking them to stay on campus and work on their paper until they were at least a little closer to being done, rather than call it a day and go for pizza, which was their alternative plan of action...It really doesn't take a lot to be a tyrant when dealing with teenagers - but I suppose those of you who are parents already know that...). But now they might also feel that it was worth it. And more important still, they may have learnt something about writing an academic paper that they can use in the future.love/Reb - experiencing a little "teacher's pride"
