Guest guest
Jackie, If you want to eat something acidic and know it might bother you, there is a supplement called Prelief that will take the acid out of the food. You take a couple of tablets with your food and the acid is neutralized. It works on the same concept as Beano. I think the same company distributes both. I know they have a website about prelief. My urologist recommended to me. I can’t do acidic foods because they give me bladder spasms – I have Interstitial cystitis along with my MS. It works great when I use it. I try to stay away from acidic foods but every once in a while I can’t avoid them. Guest guest
This is good to know Connie,......thanks! Its weird because I've gone for years without AD, and just recently it seems to have flared up in me. I am only assuming its from the added stress I can't seem to avoid these days. Hugs, Jackie Or it could be that you have gotten into the bateria that causes ulcers. Or you could have GERD. Or some stomach bug that has your stomach irritated. Have you started any new meds recently? I'd talk to the doctor about it if it doesn't get better soon. I've been treated for GERD for at probably l5 years. I'm getting another EGD/Gastroscopy a week from tomorrow. My new pcp realized this spring that I haven't had a repeat scope done on my stomach since I started on the meds all those years ago. And I'm starting to have symptoms again. Debbie and Ian McKinley (BMD since 93)no litters Kansas http://home.hit.net/~dimck/ Brighteye Bushy Tail Gretchen CD,CGC 11/11/92 - 10/07/03.
