one step forward,two steps back

Well guys,I think I might be getting closer to having all my pre-surgery

information complete. I finally got to see my Doctor today who just returned

from a carribean vacation(nice)I wasn't sure how she would react to my request

but I was pleasantly surprised in that she agreed that it seemed like a logical

choice for me. She,of course, wanted to check some information with Dr. R. and

said she'd help me as long as everything seemed ok.

I also had my psyc appointment and found it fairly enlightening. He also was in

agreement with the procedure as a possible choice. I guess this would be 2 steps

forward.

Then we get to the insurance.They have yet to respond to me appeal letter sent

over 2 weeks ago. How long should it take to at least here that they received

something?This would be my 4 steps back. I continue to hand in the " Insurance

Twilight Zone.Any suggestions how to speed insurance along(don't laugh)Amy
