Guest guest
Akiba, The mail order is through my Blue Cross Blue Shield plan. Sometimes getting scripts at drug store is cheaper but most of the time mail order is best for me. I pay 35 for 3 months of Avonex and will pay 35 for Provigil. Brand names are 35 for 3 months. Generics are 10 dollars for 3 months. Vicki > > > > > > Bad news for me..... Have you been on Amantadine before? was on it before she switched to Provigil, it didn't do very much for her but the neuro explained that it is the fatigue-med that helps the largest persentage of people with MS - around 50%. Re: Off Provigil and on to Amantadine The opposite is happening to me. I had to stop the Amantadine because of horrible blue web like vein thingies under the skin of my legs. I am waiting for Provigil to come via mail order. sleeping all day and all night lol. Too expensive at the drug store even with insurance. $89.60 and I can get 3 months for $35.00 mail order. I wish they would hurry up and get it here. I read up on the side effects and there it was. I had a neuro appointment last week and showed her my legs and she said it was the Amantadine.Vicki>> Bad news for me..... Guest guest
Akiba, I am on Medicaid also and I get Provigil. Have your doctor write you a script for it. The fatigue level with MS can be just as bad as people with narcelpsy (cant spell) Get what you need to make your life more livable! It makes a huge difference. Guest guest
I think thats what happened to the day he had the wrecks. He remembers nothing but a nurse waking him up 4 hours later. They have done tests on his heart, on his blood sugar, on his artiers. Now they are checking to see if his brain was asleep and his body funtioning durning the wreck. He has to go have a sleep study done next week. With as much as he is doing right now it would not suprise me. Attaching a pic of my poor van.
He is doing better, I No longer have to drive him everywhere... we just stay on the phone the whole time he is driving.
