My Dr did write a script for it, but my insurance denied it because I am not Dx'd with narcolepsy. Oh, I could have bought it, but it is in the hundreds of $$ for a one month script...so I passed... My Dr did write a script for it, but my insurance denied it because I am not Dx'd with narcolepsy. Oh, I could have bought it, but it is in the hundreds of $$ for a one month script...so I passed... Hmm...that sucks! I wouldn't have paid that much for

it either. Well, hopefully your fatigue will be

tolerable until there is a change in insurance or

another option that works. Hopefully that insurance

will cover. I think insurance should pay for

everything if a doc prescribes it. Jolie

I agree with Jolie. There is some companys (med co's) that will give it to you for free. I think Sharon has the links......(right) who makes it and you should be able to get a phone number from them on the web to see if they do. My doctor called this morning and she is switching me to Amantadine. I'm sorry this med didn't work out for you Sharon. Fatigue is stupid, and yucky and it has cooties! On most days I would (if I could) nap most of the afternoon, then sleep through the night -- but I also find that the extra sleep doesn't seem to get rid of the fatigue!!! so frustrating. But there is often not much else I can do except rest when I feel that way... I started taking the B-12 dots, waiting for the energy to arrive! Sharon wrote: Bad news for me.....
