Mainly I can't access the functions other than getting it to speak my bg number after testing. I just went to the doctor today and found out that I've been testing two weeks with the wrong test strips that the company sent me. I can't send the meter back but I'm going to try to see if I can get Medicare to purchase the new meter anyway on the basis that I can't use the functions on this one and don't have sighted help to use it. If they won't purchase the prodigy I'm considering purchasing it and asking them to pay for the strips. It sounds like the best talking monitor now is the prodigy? Is that true for new meters?
