The second one reminds me of The Thousand Islands in NY! There are tiny islands that are each filled with a single house. I tried to find some photos but couldn't. Yep, that is where we lived for the first 4-5 years of our marriage. Rob's dad built a Marina there and we lived in the house, right on the water. But it's been sold now, and the guy turned it into a cement forest...huge storage barns, no more grass, no more trees...very painful for Rob, he grew up there.
