Guest guest
Can anyone give me any suggestions? My daughter just started kindergarten this fall. We are scheduled to meet for a conference at the end of October/beginning of November. This is still new to me. I need some suggestions on how to ask for things. (I know I'm not being very clear) She has a lot of problems understanding things like the concept of time. Do other hearing impaired children have this much difficulty?? She thinks everything happened " yesterday. " We are trying, but the classroom teacher is not very cooperative. We have a daily communication notebook, but she is not very detailed about anything. How do I address these needs?? I don't know anyone else with a HOH child, so I'm kind of on my own. I am not knowledgeable with any types of oral programs or anything. I am starting to get really frustrated. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Jill Mom to Karly 9 Cassidy 5 1/2 HOH and
