I was unable to document " hemostaxis " in any of my books. I did get a few hits for it on Google, although of course it asked me did I really mean hemostasis. BTW, I entered it as " hemostaxis " to narrow the search as I always do. Hopefully this isn't a verbatim account and you can transcribe it as epistaxis instead of hemostaxis.
