Guest guest
Try www.vrp.com. As I recall, vrp doesn't use fillers. > can someone recommend a brand of ALA that does not have potato starch or > grain derivatives for a filler, and that you can get at 50mg doses? thanks, > julie >

I use Natural Factors brand, it contains no fillers that I can tell, and it does come in 50 mg capsules. Dana
Guest guest
We just opened our forth bottle of Kirkmans 25 mg,ALA capsules (90/bottle). We started chelating in January. It took six months, but we're really impressed with recent results. They do contain plant cellulose and other inert ingrediants, but my kid really likes them opened and mixed with rice milk. Using Andy protocol but only one wakeup at night (between 1-2am). My family has been very happy with Kirkman's products. Guest guest
I buy mine from Kirkman. Try not to get any with extra " stuff " in it. Guest guest
When you buy from Kirkman, you have to specify " Hypoallergenic formula. " This is Kirkman-speak for " No additional garbage please. " Dean [ ] Re: ALA BRAND I buy mine from Kirkman. Try not to get any with extra " stuff " in it. Guest guest
I just bought the ALA with the " stuff " in it. Sucralose and sorbitol seem to be the main offenders in the flavored version. I give my son their flavored magnesium and vitamin c with some of this stuff, because he would not take it otherwise as the taste was simply too offensive for him. He seems to tolerate this other stuff ok. I figure the DMSA is foul tasting enough, so we intend to use the flavored version of ALA. I understand ALA is not too pleasant tasting, and I have to literally sit on my son and hold him down with all my might to get the DMSA in. So I figure on balance getting the ALA is more important than anything else.

Guest guest
We ut it into a spoonful of applesauce and it really helps mask the taste as is a momentary thing. We couldn't get them to drink the flavored in a cup, either. HTH, RUTh On Aug 13, 2008, at 8:38 PM, iflow97 wrote: > I just bought the ALA with the " stuff " in it. Guest guest
Just plain ALA. I have found Kirkmans (not the flavoured one which I think is 25 mg) to be the easiest to dissolve. So when I buy, I always get the 50 mg and then halve it cause I am dodging the flavoured one. Shirley, Mum to Josh 10 (ASD)
