Guest guest
Though I am not in New York, I will add to the discussion. The only places I am have seen restrictions are within insurance contracts which prohibit the billing of treatment for family members. So the only problem is that unless the family member wants to pay out of pocket, your clinic would be providing the service pro bono and you would have to account for the productivity lost (if that would be a problem). Hopefully your clinic would support you treating the family member there. I recommend that even if the service is provided pro bono, that it be properly documented for liability purposes.
