Guest guest
Well, my neuro got back to me today after talking to the neuro-radiologist. He (neuro-radiologist) believes that what the other neuro read as two new lesions in the hippocampus, are not lesions but normal. (?????) Furthermore, he believes that the "old" lesion is a cyst attached to a tumor! (back where we started 5 months ago)!!! So my neuro is going to consult the local neuro surgeon and see what he thinks, and get back to me in a few days. Hmmmm. I am still waiting for my appt at the UCSF MS center -- when I called there last week they said someone would call me this week to schedule appt. Now my neuro up here is saying to wait on that appt, because the MS spcialists won't be able to help me if this is a tumor. But I'm thinking I don't care - I'd rather drive the 5hours and get that opinion from them. If it is a tumor, I want the surgery down there anyway. Everyone seems to have a different idea about what they are seeing in my scans. But I guess the upside of all of this is that several different dr.s are looking at my scans .
