Guest guest
Hi Jeff, The answer is no. CMS only allows MDs and DOs as well as podiatrists and ophthalmologists (obvious within their scope of practice) and any associated NPP. Dentists and chiropractors cannot refer and you get paid by Medicare. You would also need to check your state practice act, as there is no reason not to treat the patient if allowed by your state. It would be an excluded benefit as far as Medicare was concerned. ine ine M. o, PT, CEEAA Owner Encompass Consulting & Education, LLC 8114 NW 100th Terrace, Tamarac, FL 33321-1259 Join us for our first webinar, July 31st at 2:00pm EST.
