Hi Mark,

What do you do with the strips and lancets and the lancet device and also the

control solution?

Sharon

about prodigy,

I'm sorry to bring this up again, I almost got it a few months ago and I

think now is the time. Am I right in assuming that if one is totally blind

they get the more expensive one, and if they have partial vission, they can

use the other? I'm totally blind and I don't want to end up with the wrong

one, but the person I talked to seemed to think anyone can use the lesser

price one, as they " both talk. " I just want a full-functioning meter, and am

trying to get it through my doctor, but if not I don't want to save money

unless of course it's no big deal. Please forgive this further question, I

guess I have been somewhat following the discussions but not real closely

sometimes.

I planned to do this very thing! I usually end up carrying it in my breast

pocket, and stashing the lancet device and strip bottle in my other pockets. I

hope this is fixed in some future update. It would really be nice if they would

swap the future updated/improved meter with this older one with the design flaw.

You don't need to take the control solution with you. You only need to use

that occasionally. You could also just stash a few strips in a zip-lock bag,

and you'll just need to find some place to put the lancet device.

Hi Sharon,

Sorry it's taken me so long to get back to you; I've been away for a week.

While on vacation I put the Prodigy and supplies, along with my insulin and

supplies, in a soft sided zipper bag and drop it into my back pack. The back

pack is my carry-on when I fly.

If I'm just out for a day I put all of this stuff in a fanny pack.
