Guest guest
I would get it removed if poss, I have heard tales of supposedly disabled air bags going off with dire results. Better safe than sorry. Guest guest
I thought it was only rear-facing car seats that shouldn't be in front of an air bag? Or maybe that small people (whether children or very short adults) should always sit way back from the air bag. Much simpler in France where NO ONE under the age of 10 (or 12?) is EVER allowed to sit in the front seat. It was a pain for my SIL with 4 kids until they got a peoaple mover. Maybe that's why Peugeot won't give in? Phyllis >After learning from you all that children in seats shouldn't be put in >the >front with an airbag. I would have thought, although I'm no expert, that you would be safer with a taller child on a booster since in my car the recommendation that children under 12 or under 5' tall don't sit in the front with airbag because of a suffocation risk. -- Sue

Does this include babies in rear facing car seats? Where will I be able to check this out? If it does, this is really going to mess up our carefully made plans whereby I sit in the middle row for the long drive from Normandy to Disneyland Paris so that I can reach all the children. Guest guest
Thanks. They are refusing to give any info. I'm trying a friend who works for the AA to see if he knows how or can get hold of the info. Not sure if I'd feel better living in ignorance of the risks but now I know and the more I think about it the more I worry.
