Guest guest
Kat, Lamar here The author is A. Shorffstall . The original said " with the grace of a woman " . Many have claimed to be the author, but she is the correct one. ----- Original Message ----- From: KathleenLS@... egroups Sent: Sunday, October 01, 2000 11:14 AM Subject: [] There Does Come the Dawn There Does Come The Dawn After awhile, you learn the subtle difference between holding a hand and chaining a soul. You learn that love doesn't mean leaning and company doesn't mean security. You begin to learn that kisses aren't contracts and presents aren't promises. You begin to accept your defeats with the grace of an adult, not the grief of a child and learn to build all your roads on today, because tomorrow's ground is too uncertain for plans, and futures have a way of falling down in midflight. After awhile, you learn that sunshine burns if you get too much. So you plant your own garden and decorate your own soul, instead of waiting for someone to bring you flowers. You learn that you really can endure, that yes, you are strong. You find you do have worth. The path may not have gone the way you wanted it too but it does have a way of turning around. You learn that no matter how you feel there is a road mapped out for you and beside it grows many flowers. You learn you do matter to someone and you know in your heart, you really are very special, despite what some may say to you. You come to realize that the guilt doesn't belong to you. With every turn and bend you become stronger and you can go on. You learn you really will make it and most of all you learn that yes, there does come the dawn, even after the darkest night.
