Guest guest
Not really close to your s/l, but from the word exostosis I would venture accessory navicular. Guest guest
It does make me wonder because the doc stopped, paused and clearly said what sounded like *griloid* with a definite G sound. griloid?? > s/l *griloid* navicular or exostosis on the navicular right foot > > anyone know? > > Thanks > > Val > > > >

Guest guest
Hah! Look what I found. I saw cornuate navicular and did a search coming up with this tidbit: Occasionally, the accessory ossification center is fused to the tuberosity. This latter instance has been referred to as a " wrap-around " navicular, cornuate navicular, gorilliform navicular, and the Kidner foot type. Here is the url for the article: http://astro.ocis.temple.edu/~rchristm/TeachFiles/NormalVariants/NormalVaria nts.htm#anchor4858035 Seems the doc is maybe trying to make an adjective out of gorilloform.
