Guest guest
When my son was around 40 lbs, he took 1/4-1/3 tablet disolved in lots of water. You can disolve it in a tiny amount of water and put it in a medicine syringe and then ask the child to drink extra water after taking the med. Guest guest
Anybody tried Alka Seltzer Gold for yeast die-off? I started my son on probiotics (Biokult) and he seems to have nasty headaches and body pain. I'm giving him Vit C (300 mg). Can I also give Alka Seltzer Gold? If so, what dosage should I give him? (he's 40 lb)Is it supposed to added to a cup of water or something? Thanks Rima
Guest guest
Thanks a lot, Gaylen. This sounds like a good idea and I'll start with low doses and see how it goes. (Are you sure this is yeast die-off as opposed to allergy to something in the probiotics) I'm not sure - I think I'll write to the company and find out . Guest guest
I found it at CVS! Yay! We do have glutathione too, which we were already taking. I hope it will make a difference... ________________________________ From: ktdommer <ktdommer@...> Sent: Mon, January 17, 2011 9:36:20 AM Subject: [ ] Alka Seltzer Gold Rite Aid ordered it for us. We talked to the pharmacist and it came on the truck the next day. We take it with a squeezed lemon now. I found some sugar free raspberry syrup and put a little of that in it for the kids. Now I just add a few raspberries and mash them up. It actually is quite refreshing. At the ILADS conference someone talked about taking it with gluthathione. It got too expensive for us to do that as a detox times 3 people. We have kept with the whole squeezed lemon, water and alkaseltzer gold.
