Hi ,

I know you meant no offense by posting this, but I’m not sure if this is the

place to do it. We all have our opinions, and they may differ or conflict, but

that is beside the point. I’m on this list to basically talk about WLS. I

really don’t want to be a “pooper, “ but I have a hard enough time reading all

the posts that it just gets over whelming to sift through messages that have

are off topic.

I understand where you’re coming from, and I want to be sensitive to those

post off-topic when they need help of advice in other areas of their lives. I

appreciate that. I’m just hoping that we can limit general posts like this

that don’t address a specific situation.

Thanks for listening.

I understand :-) A lot of things go through our heads before surgery, and I

think it helps to get all these thoughts in order.

Okay, I'm sorry. I have just been doing a lot of thinking lately, and with

me having surgery in a week, I guess I am focusing a lot on my daughter, my

only child, and this world we live in. I apologize, and I will remember in

the future to try to limit talk to WLS.

Thanks for pointing it out to me

Alice,

I'm not trying to step on any toes, however, this list is for WLS being the

obvious major focus, but I think we all need to share some stories, jokes at

times, as well as just " notes " once in a while. One thing I find, is when

sifting thru mail, if the subject line isn't something I want to read, I

delete it.

Please don't get me wrong, you are right in choosing this site as support,

but sometimes in my opinion, always talking about the same topics can get

kind of boring (at least for me), and we all have our days when we need a

chuckle or two to survive. I know personally for me, I appreciate reading

various posts unrelated to WLS, it helps me to learn more about that person,

and how they approach various topics, jokes, life, etc..

Again, I'm am NOT trying to be objective, I just feel differently than some.
