Shirley,

I take Ritalin for the fatigue. I have

been on it for over a year and it works for me. I started on 10mg twice a day

but it was hard to always remember the lunch time dose. My neuro put me on the

extended release tab --- 20mg and I take it once a day and it lasts at least 8

hours. I can now work without falling asleep while teaching reading groups. It

is really inexpensive when you buy the generic version. With my insurance it is

less than $2 a month. I haven’t had any side effects except some weigh

loss at first since it is an appetite suppressant. I have been happy with it.

fatigue

Does anyone here take Ritalin for MS fatigue?

Provigil isn't working. The barometer has been low for awhile and I just

can't get rid of my fatigue. I see my neuro next month and I'll see what

she says. I want/need to start working but if I can't get the fatigue

under control then it's not going to happen. I haven't worked in 11

years. I've done some research but want to do some more before I see my

neuro. Vitamins and such don't work for me either.

Thanks,

Shirley
