Hi all, is experiencing a particular "weakness" in her arms today - she can lift them but not hold them up for very long before she gets completely exhausted. She says her whole body feels sort of weak or exhausted, but that it's particularly tangible in her arms. I think she felt it first in her arms, too. She has not been doing anything tht could have exhausted her tha last couple of days - I had a busy weekend (deadline this week), so mostly watching movies etc (I watched a couple with her, but then had to return to the computer).Could this be part of a relapse - or is it just "business as ususal in MS-land"?love/Reb

Hiya Reb

I'm very much a newbie to MS so feel free to take this message with a pinch of salt but I have the same problems as so I'm guessing it's all part of MS... that's just a newbie's opinion though

Hi Reb, I don't know if my answer is much help because I don't have an MS diagnosis -- i'm in limboland... BUT, Yes, I do often get that sensation in my arms that you are describing. I more often experience it in my legs though. When I have the weakness, I also get a trembly sensation. Kamireb_41se wrote: Hi all, is experiencing a particular "weakness" in her arms today

Hi Reb:I have had weakness but it is usually my legs. I would advise to call her neurologist just to let him know. Since has never had this before I would not want to say it's 'business as usual'. It could be but better to be safe than sorry.Love Sharonhttp://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/MSersHEALTH/This email is a natural hand made product. I would say it could be either. I have had days when I get tired in just a part of my body. Then there are those days when it use to be all of me. Best wishes for this to pass soon and prayers for you both. Thanks Mandy!

Yes, it would seem it is just part of MS. Her arms are much better today.

Thanks Kami!

Nice to know she's not alone with it. I don't think she got trembly,

though. Except maybe if she tried to keep her arms up. It's all better

now, anyhow.

Thanks Sharon! We will let the neuro know about it - even if it has subseeded now. It's probably one of those things that should be noted somewhere, since it is a new symptom after all. She has had a bit of stress at work lately, mental stress more than a huge workload, I suppose that could have done it. love/Reb>> Hi Reb:> > I have had weakness but it is usually my legs. Reb, the way I always remember to say things to the doc is I keep a journal for problems or questions. I remind my self with a footnote about the date. Meaning to read my other journal (daily journal). I don't have many problems these days, but I still have questions when I go for my once every 6 month check up. I went a year with out needing to see my doc this time, and I just had to go to get my prescriptions renewed. Always, reb_41se wrote: Thanks Kami!Nice to know she's
