Re: My Doctor UpdateCassy, I am sending you my prayers. I had a traumatic EMG too. & gt; & gt; & gt; & gt; ??? Hey Everyone!!!! ! & gt; & gt; ???? I had my EMG appointment today but they ended up doing a bunchof other tests too.It was a long horrible day? & gt; and if I new it would have been so bad I wouldnt have gone.lol.I?was ther from 1:20-4:00!!! !! Horrible day. & gt; ?First they re-did the Ischemic test(according to them they do itmore then my cardio) and?I got the results while I & gt; ?was there and the Lactic Acid and Ammonia were ok.One of them didsay they were re-doing it because 2 enzymes & gt; showed and that is very very rare.He said it was still possible butnot very likely.Weird though how 2 showed but & gt; then today not even one????Makes no sense to me. & gt; I am concerned.He did it alot different then my cardio did.He?didntput a

blood pressure monitor on first,and that is to? & gt; exercise the arm(I diddnt realize at the time,my mind was full andscared of all the tests they said we were doing) I? & gt; am very weak and I think this would make a huge difference.Then hehad me squeeze this metal device(to measure? & gt; your strength) over and over in a row,then from there the nursedrew my blood 4 times.When my cardio did it it was & gt; soooooo different.He did the IV line,used the b?p cuff,and had mesqueeze the device between blood takes.So, & gt; according to the test it is not an enzyme?deficiency. I dont knowabout this,I read about the Ischemic test and I really & gt; dont think this is right.I am going to email my cardio and ask?forhis help. & gt; ?????Then they did a nerve conduction,only for about an hour and ahalf!!!! There is something?wrong in

my foot and & gt; ?leg area. They were baffled,it was 3 of them.Anyway, & gt; the doc I seen last time in the neuro-musc. clinic kept sayingthere is something in ?there,he said it a few times,and? & gt; then he told me he thinks its a type of annomoly,maybe something todo with the way my nerves are. & gt; The other doc said it took so long because they havnt quite seen & gt; (why does this keep happening to me?ARGH) something?like thisbefore.?It really hurt,I have little bruises were & gt; they pushed into my skin to shock me.???? & gt; ???? After that was the EMG,Finally! !!!!Lol!! ! It hurt so bad Iscreamed and cried like a baby. They did my arm once & gt; and then my legs about 2 maybe 3 times.It was definetly not thatbad when my old neuro?did it.He says the results for & gt; that one is ok. & gt; Then the

docs went and talked (did this alot in the room andhallway) then my doc came back and asked if I was & gt; up for 1 more test.LOL!!! I said NO,why? Lolol.So,he says?he waslooking?in this book and found this test to check? & gt; the sympathetic system.I guess it looks at dymelinating andmyelinating and also something in the nervous? & gt; system for autonomic dysfunction. If only they new what they weredoing!LOLOL, Im hoping im wrong!!!LOL! So,that & gt; was a lil shocker thing too but he says it will take a couple daysto interpret the results.My doc said he had cleared & gt; the afternoon for me because im special.HarHar. LOL.! He was nicethough to say I had the choice but he? & gt; thought it would be easier on me so I wouldnt have to keep goingback.He was right,cuz if I had known I wouldnt & gt; have gone at

all.lol. & gt; & gt; ?? I just dont know. I dont really have confidence in this doc.Ifeel like a guinea pig with him,more so then with anyone & gt; else ever.I was and still am so confident in my cardio,I reallytrust and respect him.But all this is beyond him so & gt; thats why he sent me there.He did say I was too see a Dr.Mcbut I have been seeing a Dr.Hahn instead.I guess & gt; these 2 are the only ones there in the specialty and pretty muchfor all of my area.He always brings another doc and & gt; also a resident,so at least there is a few more opinions.Well, Ithink this is about it,until everything I forgot comes back.LOL!!!! & gt; I hope you all are well.I am going to try and catch up a bit beforebed.Miss ya guys!!!!! & gt; Luv n hugz, & gt;
