Hi Group,

I'm looking for suggestions on EMR. When is the deadline for a private practice

to have EMR? What is the incentive about?

Hi Lydia,

PT is, unfortunately, not included in the deadlines and incentives for EMR.

It is suggested that you consider, however, if your system or a system you

get will be able to coordinate with your referring clinics' systems down the

line.

After looking at many systems over the years, I would recommend a " cloud "

system due to the speed at which those systems can be updated with the

multitude of changes that happen now with documentation and billing.
