Is chiropractic treatment safe with AVN since I don't know the full extent of

the damage to my bones?

I was in a car accident 3/12 and have headaches, neck and back pain from it, I

stopped treatment after the 2nd appointment because they now have a PT working

there also and there was Latex everywhere which set off my allergies for about

8-10 hours of not so much fun because I refuse to go to the ER until I am purple

and NO longer breathing on my own! (long story, I won't bore you with).

So even if I could find a clinic that is 100% Latex-Free, I am afraid to

continue the treatment since finding out that the AVN is now no longer just in

my tibias. And is for sure in the bottom part of my right femur too. That was

always my " Good " leg until now. Plus from some of the pain I have been having

the last couple of days, I have a feeling it is starting in my left hip too.

Right now I am playing denial that it is from stress because of my Mom being in

the U of M ICU Stepdown Unit (another long story

I won't bother you with).

I already take calcium, vitamin D, and have stopped Actonel... is there anything

else I can try to help with the pain since pain meds aren't really my friend

(allergies) so I am down to Tylenol, Ibuprofen (must be taken with Benadryl),

Lidoderm patches (don't do much), or I can have Fentanyl (IV only though) so

that is an only in the hospital type of drug for me!

Thanks for any suggestions!
