Was flicking through this yesterday and there's a quarter page

snippet about the importance of positioning in bfing, accompanied

by a terrible photo of a baby *hanging* off a nipple and looking

like a wonderful example of what NOT to do. Sigh.

Thank you for posting that I agree totally, and I had posted it to the

BF site, asking if anyone there had seen it. The comments were

quite OK and positive it was just the picture that looked terrible.

NCT press office should write to them and tell them we can provide better

pictures.

good idea ...another opportunity for a plug as well!

I'm off to Stoke Mandeville hospital tomorrow with Verity to do

our 'bf poster child' bit at a day-long bf workshop, run by one

of the HVs who I met today at clinic (same one who did the last

session on bf that I took Verity to; this HV is hoping to train

as a BFC and I was telling her that I am hoping to do so too so

we had a good chat about that :-). So after all my worry about

getting a 'why haven't you started solids yet?' lecture, I got

the HV who doesn't usually do clinics who is incredibly

supportive and lovely.
