Guest guest
Hello all, I hope everyone is ok, I need some advice really. For the last month I have had such bad pain which I have never had before which has rendered me to take to my bed which is hugely unlike me so much to the point that my mum and dad said that they knew something is wrong My legs are so so bad at the moment that walking from my room to the bathroom at night is near impossible with out help. I am seeing my GP tomorrow at 10am I am on Co-codamol 30/500 and Naproxen 500 and Pregablin (Lycria)these work during the day but at night I spend around half the night crying and silently yelling in pain, can anyone suggestion anything that works for them? I have tried hot baths showers I can get in but getting out is nothing but hard work and with out help I can not get out. I feel physically sick, Can Fibro cause extreme tiredness after walking a short distance?? Any ideas or suggestions I will welcome with open arms, I am 20 years old and feel 120 today. I feel like giving up all the time now I am so tired of this. Regards Ms Donna-Marie Hurst South Wales United Kingdom,
Guest guest
(((((((((donna)))))))))) I am so sorry to hear that you are suffering so! Nighttime always seems to make pain levels go up. I think it because the body is tired and has less tolerance. Sorry this is coming after the doctor appointment. what type of pain are you experiencing at night? Is it burning? that would be nerve pain. Neurontin is helpful for that type of pain. I take oxycodene and tramadol for pain. I take my oxy around 8pm and take the tramadol at 9:30 or 10pm. I also take a muscle relaxer. If I am have alot of pain, I find taking an ativan helps. It relaxes my muscles and helps me feel more relaxed so I can sleep. Fibro can make you really tired. have they tested you for lupus? I don't know a lot about it but I know pain and fatigue are some of the symptoms. Let us know how you made out with the doctor. Big gentle hugs, Tami
