Guest guest
Kaylene, My Mom isn't a DNR but she has a will, a living will, and all that but she is going home tomorrow and my Dad and brother are going to take turns taking care of her between home care visits. This a situational thing but as of right now she is a full code and I have the power to say no if her chances of survival are bad or the power to discontinue life support if there isn't a chance she could successfully come off again. I have full medical decision making powers when my Mom isn't conscious or able to make decisions. > Kaylene wrote: > Please be sure your Mom has a living will, and a do not resuscitate (DNR) order in her chart. Also, have someone in your family, or yourself have medical power of attorney.
