Guest guest
I think your choice was a good one considering your level of stress. Wisdom teeth removal can be kinda painful so being in hospital will allow them to treat the pain. Just make sure your oral surgeon puts in an order for pain medication. I know things will get better eventually, don't they have pain clinics there that can give you opioid meds for pain? HELP! Donna, I had myself put out and glad I did because when they got in there, my teeth were impacted and sideways and it took a long time to get out. Also, my sister had the same thing done but her Dentist put her on increased Vitamin C and told her to not eat sugar and cut down on fats. I had swelling like a chipmunk and she didn't , just info. Good Luck. Bennie
Guest guest
Hi Donna Its your choice I am Miss Scardy about anything medical but i had all 4 taken out at once -it took 4 hours cause one broke off- the Dentist never pulled a tooth again he felt so bad.I didn't know the difference but i had local, no pain and a mouthful of cotton- not so much blood but maybe for you , being knocked out is best.i have never been knocked out even with babies and hope to keep it that way-i don't do well with anesthesia Good luck. iqbgy >Donna wrote: >I'm struggling physically and mentally at the moment, I'm scared senseless because I am due to have two wisdom teeth removed and there was two choices General Anesthetic meaning I would have to stay in hospital for a day or Sedated and local but I am regretting making the choice of going for General Anesthetic but I am the worlds worst screamer when I see blood or surrounded by a group of people who I don't know well, Did I make the right choice?
