Personally I loved that bumper sticker. My child that I had is forever

lost. I know I have a new one and I LOVE HIm, he is adorable. But my soul

knows that I dont want anyone to lose the child that God first granted them.

And that is what happened. I understand the heartbreak and I loved your

sticker idea.

Valeri,

about a year ago I felt exactly like you. My son was completely lost in his

world. Not to mention anymore about not being able to learn anything... the

simplest things.

Now, he is almost a normal kid... He can play, learn, sleep, eat without pain or

vomiting, he can even talk. He became so smart in the last few weeks that I am

shocked. I can't believe that this is the same kid. Mine!

The only thing I did for him was chelation. For a year.

I am so convinced that you are wrong about your daughter... I could even bet

with you :) Please keep the hope up. I know how empty it feels when there's no

hope and I simply hate that " image " .

I hope you and your family had a nice Thanksgiving :)

  • 2 weeks later...

My dad has silk screening capabilities at his company and said that they

can make bumper stickers. I am not sure how much it would be but was

wondering if there is any interest in one that said, " AUTISM: It's the

mercury stupid! "

I think the phrase " AUTISM: It's the mercury stupid! " certainly makes a point

and expresses our frustration and anger, but I don't think it's going to win the

hearts and minds of anyone who's not already on-board. If anything it will

probably further polarize the public because you're calling people stupid if

they don't believe autism is due to mercury. This only makes them defensive and

more determined to be right.

I liked the line " No child left behind, unless they're autistic " better (because

I can't stand Bush) but it doesn't address mercury.

I don't have any better suggestions but I'll work on it.

How about something simple like:

Vaccines + Mercury = Autism

A lot of great suggestions have been posted! I am going to check on how

much it would cost to see if the bumper sticker is even a possibility.

Since we wouldn't be making a huge quantity, the price per sticker would be

pretty high. I will report back when I get a price quote.

to me, that makes it seem as though the mercury is separate from the

vaccines, not part of them

Just my thoughts on this, not sure they are even worth .02, but here

they are.

I like the idea of " getting out there " with a bumper sticker and drawing

attention to the risks/dangers of vaccines. But, I don not think it is

ONLY the mercury that is causing harm and I do not think that Autism is

the ONLY harm being done.

I think it is also formaldehyde, aluminum, and other ingredients that

place our children at risk and I think the risks involved are Chronic

Fatigue (now being seen in TEENS), ADD, ADHD, and other autoimmune

illnesses.

Cost of co-pay for vaccinations: $10.00

Cost of trip to Mcs after vaxing: $10.00

Cost of hospitalization after reacting to vax: $300,000.00*

Cost of avoiding vaxes and knowing your child never reacts: PRICELESS

* Actual bill

Tricia,

In Palm Beach County, Florida, the Department of Health and Human

Services has a very agressive campaign on getting all school children

vaccinated. It seems everywhere you look in or around any school you

see the slogan:

NO SHOTS! NO SCHOOL! NO KIDDING!

I don't know if their slogan is used anywhere else so it may not

translate that well but I was thinking of a bumper sticker that reads:

NO SHOTS! NO AUTISM! NO KIDDING!

Here in Kansas, they run a commercial correlating not vaccinating to leaving

your baby on a busy street.

I like your bumper sticker idea!!!
