Guest guest
Fatigue, in my case, is caused by the active viruses in my body. Valtrex gets rid of those viruses; therefore my fatigue is starting to lessen. See the research online published by respected medical journals. Even Dr. Montoya at Stanford concurs and credits Dr. Lerner in a speech available on youtube. In my case, my pain is caused by the viruses and Lyme that knock out my immune system leaving me susceptible to everything. On top of that the Lyme and viruses make my own body attack itself. Iv antibiotics for the Lyme, Valtrex for the viruses and a heart medication are getting rid of the viruses and Lyme. Rather than treating symptoms of every imaginable illness and disease, Dr. Lerner's going after the culprit. Research shows eradicating the viruses and Lyme means the other diseases go away, even ALS, MS, etc. There's a ton of research, case studies and patient testimonials online. From about age 18 until now, age 44, I had no life other than sleeping, pain and one health problem after another. I can't get those 25 or so years back. No matter what age you are, please refuse to accept that pain and fatigue can only be managed. A doctor out there is either researching or effectively treating just about everything. Don't let the naysayer medical people dissuade you or convince you it's all psychiatric. These diseases attack the central nervous system and can indeed cause psychiatric problems; but the psychiatric problems aren't at the root of these illnesses. Also, these debilitating illnesses cause people to feel angry, sad, confused and depressed. Anyone missing out on most of his or her life is going to be depressed being sick all the time.£ These insurance companies that limit insurance. Benefit payments to two years calling the person's cfs/me/cfids, lyme, etc.0 mental conditions are classifying that way to save money. I hope each of you is able to get relief that will allow you to be part of a fulfilling love. Peace, Lori wrote: altrex (valacyclovir) is an antiviral (acyclovir pro-drug). There are some people (select CFIDS patients) who get symptom relief from it, but it does not actually treat fatigue, tiredness, or hypersomnia. Guest guest
Lori, When you said you were going to get injections I thought so. I had to take Valtrex twice for my Shingles and I wish I would I had known this as I would have tried to watch to see if it helped with those. I was put on another anti viral last time and boy did it knock me for a loop. I agree with everything you said and I just did not want Bruce confusing why he was taking this. I know you had Lymes. I hope you are doing better . Have you read any of Ginger Savely'w work ? She was here in Austin and the Medical Society here ran her off as she was using a different treatment than they did and saying the Lymes problem was pandemic here and was being hushed hushed. She went to San Francisco and then now is in Washington D.C. lobbying for the cause. When did you know you had Lymes ? I have had immune problems for over fifteen years now and it is getting closer and closer and have an appointment with immunologist next month her to be evaluated for IV's but got my Vit D. Deficiency diagnosed and on the way to be corrected. How often do you take the Valtrex ? I agree with everything you said and read Ginger Savely's website and treatment and how effective it was for a lot of people http://www.gingersavely.com/About-Dr--Savely.html I am glad you have diagnosis and good Doctors and please let us know how you are doing.
