Guest guest
Tomorrow is the test, it is my Mom's Memorial Service. How many of my relatives do you think will set off my alleriges. I refuse to have the paramedics come to a funeral!! Although I have responded to a few as a paramedic. My Mom was a Hospital Chaplain, and part of the Heart and Lung Transplant programs at the University of Minnesota Hospital. Unfortunately because organs don't always become available when they are needed, or because of rejection issues my Mom did many funerals. If they were out of town, I would often drive her down for them, and although I rarely went in because of the flowers and perfume, I did end up in the ICU once at St. 's (part of the Mayo Clinic) in Rochester once. But I wouldn't let them call an ambulance to the funeral and threatened to walk, so one of the hospital secretaries drove me to the hospital. I wouldn't let them call an ambulance to a funeral my Mom was officiating at, so I am not having the paramedics come to my Mom's funeral either! Although I seriously believe / know that is what it would take for some of my family to get it that I am that allergic to fragrance and such! Say a prayer and gather the bail money for me if my relatives set off my allergies at my own Mom's service!! Although getting totally ticked off does put a lot of natural adrenaline into your system which will probably save me life, but not so sure about whomever sets my allergies off. They did it to me at my wedding so not sure what would stop them from doing it at my Mom's funeral. I love certain members of my family, can't you tell. Sorry the stress of the whole situation is getting to me, really I am a nice sweet person normally. Just not afraid to stand up for myself, which sometimes gets me in trouble as you can imagine! Okay, off to hug my baby girl and then everyone here is going to be early because tomorrow is going to be a long and hard day I am sure!! Love Always, Anne
