Now if they have to do a spinal tap to see if you have disease, different, but anesthesiologist that become pain management doctors and are " interventional " doctors that means what is says invasive sticking you faucets, sticking your sacral iliac area, your disc area, epidurals, THEN I love this one " diagnostic sticks " to stick to find where it was you hurt to be diagnosed. Then the RAUCZ procedure where they go up your coccyx and try to break up scar tissue.. Then Neural blocks. The American Society of Spine Surgeons state over three epidurals and no pain is relieved no more and a disco gram should be done. I have two wonderful stories about this. -In order to get medication, where I went, where my insurance pays, I was at the third part of my epidural or whatever stick, I was last one waiting for my stick, the Doctor walks in, my in my gown, my consent signed, and says, " Oh we can't do this, we tried last time and couldn't get through the scar tissue " Boy, when I get mad , I get mad. I said I want to see a Doctor, he said , Well this is procedure day and he is doing procedures, Well a total of six hours of me waiting, I told him what I thought and walked out. -The other wonderful doctor who stuck me for over five years, wondering why I said I hurt, I was given 50 mg of Tramadol, twice a day and nothing was working so (injections) it must be in my head,so I went to Rehab specialist. I have spent five thousand on bed, seven thousand on spa, go to physical therapy, went to biofeedback training, went to cognitive training, imagery, chiropractor and they damaged my back, water therapy . Well this guy does a disco-gram and then comes into the room red faced and said I guess you do hurt, there are fissures all through your disc and they are gone. Your prognosis is poor and he then looked thru my chart and told me I was non compliant two times missing appts (my other doctor. left and he is owner) I told him I had permission to do so from his staff and he said to be compliant from here on. I already had another appt with other doctor. The two appts I missed were when my Mother died and I had to arrange her funeral, the other time was reserve training and I called and nurse approved. I sent this jerk a memo with my Mothers Death Certificate and My military orders. When he found I was leaving and I sent this, he sent this " you wonderful patient to my primary care " and I already told her I was going to a neurosurgeon. I am holding out to get hardware out.
