All,

I have let my pharmacist know what I have to include recent changes and they do

the best to assist me and developing a rapport and them knowing why I take it so

they make sure I do not have medications that contradict. Since then I have

never been treated disrespectful and they been over backwards to assist me. One

has even seen the metal in my back on a MRI and know I was in a car wreck and my

legs give out and I am going to puke in her trash can.

She has seen a patient be given an appointment two days after an appointment and

I say him heaving and I got him a trash can to heave in while waiting for a

script and she says that happens often.

I never state the word drugs but state medication, I never state I am a junkie

but an intractable pain patient. I do not state I need this right now but that

my pain levels are very high. I treat them with professional and do not use the

druggie words a druggie word such as " How soon can I get this " but " Please can I

sit down , I am sick " . Druggies don't care what they say and want the drugs, I

want to quit hurting and I have never been high or euphoric on my medication and

my old pain management doctor states that is the difference in druggies and pain

patients.

Druggies don't care and pain patients do. I do not let them treat me like a

junkie or I go elsewhere, I keep track of my meds and if my Doctor increases a

dose , it is my Doctors assessment and if I need to state that I will say it is

an new assessment. It is none of the Pharmacists business. My pharmacist is my

friend and I stay at the same one and if they don't get it, then I will go to a

pharmacist that does because they are the ones running the tracking system that

is supposed to check problems, duplicates or problems.

You have to chose the one that will advocate for you and CVS makes courteous

calls when you don't fill a prescription and ask if I need it any more which I

appreciate and has caught me missing prescriptions. So that it my opinion.

Bennie
