Guest guest
> Well I took Matt down town this morning at 8am (very sad) and lined up to get the latest Harry Potter. He has now been sat reading it for TWO HOURS, I'm most impressed. Postie brought mine at 9am - pre-ordered from Amazon and only 8.99! -- Sue
Guest guest
Sue I see yours was pre-ordered from Amazon and only 8.99! Did that include p & p? What's their www address? ---- Just thought I would give www.streetsonline.co.uk a bouquet! DD1 ordered the new Harry Potter book a while back from them and was resigned to having to wait two weeks for delivery. But as I type, she is more than half way through the new book, after it was delivered at 9am today, and all for the price of £7.49, including p & p. Not bad service, methinks! Lesley Wow Lesley that's really cheap isn't! I must say it makes me laugh because our local bookshop announced they would be selling it for £9.99 (rrp £14.99), so our local s and Ottakers followed suit. In the end the small bookshop didn't even manage to get any in, Ottakers didn't get enough and sold out by 11am, they opened at 8am (had a very long q. s had piles of them still at 5.30pm so I'd be interested to know how many they had ordered. I went and looked at the website DS1 & DS2 thought it was very good, they have joined the club and sent all of their friends howlers!! Anyway DH has taken the boys out on their motorbikes, should be washing the playroom carpet but think I'll sit down and read the book instead.
