Steve, I had acupuncture for the pain radiating down my leg. The first

time it worked, then years later when the pain was less " electric " in

nature, it did not work. When it worked it provided the best possible

pain relief. You are right, though, it is transitory.

Steve, it has been so long I don't really remember, but all I can

remember is it lasted as long as I got the treatments every few weeks,

but once I stopped, the relief stopped.

A Disco gram will show fissures and herniated discs when MRI's and CT's don't.

Protocol is that if the three epidurals don't work, do discogram to identify

discs, etc.

Seven years later, over twenty where ever epidurals, trigger points, diagnositic

injections etc, a discogram was done and all my three discs were ruptured with

fissures and

this jerk Doctor says " Oh, I guess you must have been hurting and he couldn't do

anything for me, he got his monies worth !/ Bennie

Leg pain can come from Sacral Iliac Syndrome,Piriformis Syndrome, and Sciatica.

If it were me (and I did this) get a physical therapists evaluation that has

trained in myofascial release.
