Guest guest
How do you support the liver so as to prevent the metals from being redistributed during chelation or biofilm? Also, if you have lyme, which antibiotics kill it? Just curious. Jen

Guest guest
Actually, I prefer using many angles to keep those metals flowing out. I think you have to look at the whole plan. One can choose their favorite method, but make sure other things are included to get the most results. Thus, it depends upon what you do. Since many report they get the highest metal dumps when they treat for pathogens, especially Lyme, then taking alginates or a good seaweed, like Modifilan, can help bind those metals that are released when the Lyme is killed. But, liver support and digestive support as well as taking zinc is often done. Using antibiotics in those with autism is not easily done successfully. You really have to study what the most successful doctors are doing. I still have parents report to me that they are flying all over the U.S. to get treatment for Lyme in autism. You will be much more likely to find a DAN than a Lyme Literate Medical Doctor (LLMD) that can successfully treat those with autism. Those with autism have such sensitive systems with already low healthy bacteria levels and stressed livers and digestion which antibiotics can add to. But, at the same time, antibiotics can fix. So, it is a whole program kind of thing. My best advice is to get a Naturopath-type doctor. I am seeing them be the most successful at all medical problems. I like choosing liver support that can be given long-term that is gentle. I, personally, like turmeric, milk thistle, and broccoli sprouts (comes in capsules). I have not tried too many more things than this, but have heard there are many choices. A person will need to look at their whole treatment plan and see what is appropriate. Naturopaths are good at this. My favorite way to find a doctor is to ask on local forums as well as www.generationrescue.org to see what I can get locally. Travel is also done if needed, as you learn about great experts around the country. I like the doctors on www.liafoundation.org or Google " Klinghardt referral " to see some more doctors or google " find a naturopath " . Unfortunately, the autism recovery journey is complex. There are some fantatstic " free " presentations about treating Lyme and metals and biofilms in those with autism and people in general at the www.liafoundation.org website. Just click presentations.
