Guest guest
Hi nne, We are fighting a nasty yeast problem and are currently using Saccharomyces Boulardii. Activated charcoal gloms onto anything that is given with it. We were told to give it about a half hour AFTER using antifungals. The idea is that the yeast die off creates toxins and the charcoal absorbs them. Don't give it with food since it will rob the nutrients out of them. We mix it in water and give it to my son in a colored cup (like a water bottle) so he can't see it. I believe you should also wait some time after giving the charcoal before giving him food or other supps. Also you wouldn't give it with a probiotic either since it would probably render it ineffective. Hope this helps. > > > general comment on yeast: when treating yeast, if the treatment > > > is goping well and there is lots of yeast, there is sometimes a > > > reaction called " die off " .
