A request... (OT)

Hi all!

No, aliens haven't come down and taken me away. Well, I guess you can say I

have been away but not physically. Just mentally. Ever since our dog, Jake,

had his epileptic seizure back in August, his knee hasn't been right. He had

cruciate ligament surgery at the end of May. Everything was fine. He had

the seizure then the knee got screwed up. He had surgery two weeks ago and

hasn't been right since. He refuses to put weight on his leg and won't

really eat. He is down to 61lbs and that's awful for a normally 72lb tall

Labrador. He's emaciated. It's really getting to me and I won't be able to

function normally till we get him healed. It's such an awful feeling of

helplessness when you can't make them feel better. There's also a question

of whether he has a problem with the bone on the bad knee. Bone biopsy was

inconclusive so we still can't rule out the possibility of a tumor. If

that's the case, he'll have to have his leg amputated.

So, you see, I've had a lot on my mind for the past three months. We are

also ttc with no luck. If nothing happens this month, I'll have a lap next

month.

My request is...

I am so far behind on what's all going on with each and every one of you. I

know a lot has happened since I last read my mail and I don't want to miss

out. I would really appreciate it if each and every one of you (including

new people) could email me privately and let me know what's happened to you?

How you are all doing? I really need to get back in the loop so I'm going to

wipe my emails out cuz I'd be reading them for a week and still not be caught

up.

Kim, please don't think I don't want to talk to you, either. I really want

to get caught up with what's been going on with you and . I just

haven't had the time or the desire to get online lately.

I would really be grateful if everyone could give me an update.
