I am on a Medicare Advantage plan from Anthem. My formulary says Tramadol is $7

for a 30 day supply at $21 for a 90-day. That's a long ways from $50.

I just checked http://www.pharmnet.com/. Their price for 120 of the 50 mg

Tramadol is $38.03. You might check out some other online discount pharmacies.

Thanks, ! Not to sound paranoid, but I have a suspicion that my

insurance company is trying cute little tricks like this since I

didn't have to pay anything (other than 1200 a month insurance

payment, ha ha) for medications and health care last year. Cut way back on all

my other pills - taking half or a quarter rather than full dose, stuff like

that, but two of the medications I just cannot do that with. Been nursing my

nerve pain stuff - neurontin - along for almost 2 months now and it's getting

down to the last three halves. They say the refill on that is going to be close

to 100 - no way is that happening.

Think I'll go talk with pharmacist at Wal Mart but the problem is

everyone seems to be on the same internet as far as keeping track of

people's scripts so they'll know I have insurance and can stick it to

me.

Guess the whole quality of life thing doesn't apply to everyone, does it?

Thank you! Jeanne B in GA
