Guest guest Posted April 7, 2002 Report Share Posted April 7, 2002 Hi, My 4 and 1/2 year old boy got Phonak Claro 311 hearing aids on Wed, April 3rd. He used Phonak Nove Fortes for about 2 years and 4 months and did very well with them. I am trying Claros for him as I like the features included in them and offcourse the most advanced Digital technology. He seems to be doing fine with Claros. We have a trial period until end of May. My sons audie told me that she still may need to tweek them couple of times. She wanted me to make a note of things I observed with him and send her an email this evening, so that she can tweek them tomorrow morning. His language teacher told me that he didn't follow the language well on Thursday and did good on Friday. He seems to be following language from TV and Computer better than before, but saying what more than before especially when I am more than 20 feet from him. Can I know how long did it take for your kids to adjust to these aids? How did they do when they first started wearing these ones? Please help me with this. Your messages will be very helpful.
