Hi, my name is and I was a member a little ways back but we changed

carriers, and I lost all my contacts so I had to re-join all my groups. I

wanted to say I am happy to be back and hope everyone is doing well.

I was the one that went through a tough time treating my chronic pain when I was

pregnant with my son.  I learned a lot, and hope no one has to go through what I

did just to seek pain control when they are pregnant.  My son is now 4 years

old, and all is great.

Of course, my pain has not gone away, ha ha, wouldn't that be nice!! I am on

Methadone, 2 tablets 3 times a day, Oxycodone, 10 mg, 1 tablet 3 times a day for

break through pain. I also have 600 mg. ibuprofen and a muscle relaxer for night

time. I also take 1 mg lorazapam 3 times a day which really helps with spasms.

My pain is a lot better then it was, but nothing really makes me feel pain free.

everyday is different. today is a day that I feel pain more then yesterday.

I noticed a new pain, on my left side of my lower back. it hurts by mid day and

I have no idea what is causing the pain. does anyone know what could be causing

this? my lower back pain is different, this is in my left side, kind of on my

hip. hurts when I lift or bend. I tell you, nothing like more pain to add to my

list!!

I do my exercises, which is just walking each day, unless I am not able to due

to pain or busy day. I work full-time as a home daycare provider which is not a

good job for someone in pain. but I love it and like being home working.

Anyways, I am just rambling now. I am so glad to be back and I truly missed

this group. I don't have really anyone that understands what chronic pain is

like a lot of people judge me when I tell them about the meds I am on. sometimes

I don't care, but other times it hurts. sometimes I hate relying on meds to

function during the day. but I can't imagine how I would feel if I didn't have

them. I just have to remind myself that this is like any chronic disease and it

has to be treated so I can have a more quality of life.

Have a great day all. thanks for listening to me!!
